Aerial protection

Drone spraying in Croatia — what’s allowed?

We’re often asked whether we can spray pesticides by drone. Short answer: not yet — here’s why, what we can already do, and how we’ll notify you the moment the rules change.

Regulation

Why a drone counts as an aircraft

Aerial application of plant-protection products is banned across the EU and Croatia (Directive 2009/128/EC; Sustainable Use of Pesticides Act, NN 32/20). “Aerial” includes unmanned aircraft, so a spraying drone is legally treated as an aircraft. No registered product is currently approved for drone application.

We do not offer drone pesticide spraying
We neither advertise nor perform drone pesticide spraying while it is not legally permitted. The Ministry of Agriculture (chemicals) and HACZ (flight) are the competent authorities.
